The Meadow

The Meadow 26 X 32 $1800.00 Original-No copies available

There is nothing more relaxing then going for a walk in a lush green meadow.

Imagine as you walk, that you can hear the joyous music of the song birds. Feel the warmth of the sun on your face as the flower scented breeze gently caresses your skin. Stop and watch the brilliantly colored butterflies dance playfully before you.

The Meadow is that secret place we all can go just to get away for a while.

Unity

Unity 15 X 15 $900.00 Original-No copies available

This pencil drawing represents the union of all things that are masculine and feminine.

The soft rounded lines combined with hard straight angles create a perfect balance between the two opposites.

My husband David and I worked on this piece together so, I thought that Unity was the perfect name for this drawing.

Sweet Dreams

Sweet Dreams 14 X 28 $800.00 Original-No copies available

The magical dream catcher protects my Indian maiden while she walks in the realm of dreams.

Like flies in a spiders web, it captures the darkness to make room for all that is peaceful and beautiful.

When she awakes in the morning refreshed, her dark dreams are destroyed by the first kiss of sunlight.

Sweet Dreams is my interpretation of the mystical dream catcher.

Fulfillment

Fulfillment 36 X 32 $7000.00 Original-No copies available

I started working on Fulfillment in 1992, it took me eight months to complete this intricate pencil drawing. While working on this piece I went through a great deal of personal turmoil so, for me Fulfillment was a form of meditation and escape. This drawing was so intense it took a great deal of self discipline and concentration. I began the drawing on the outside boarder, it became so repetitious that I almost couldn't continue.

As I was confronted with different situations in my life Fulfillment went through several name changes. The center was left blank for several months. After a period of soul searching and personal healing it was time to complete the drawing. This is why I decided to name it Fulfillment.

The Faerie's Realm

Faerie's Realm 8 X 32 $900.00 Original-No copies available

She walked along the mossy path bare feet treading softly so not to disturb the pristine silence. As she wound her way through the lush green forest dappled sunlight warmed her shoulders. Stopping for a moment she listen to the gentle voice of a near by mountain stream that ran playfully over moss covered rocks. The warm air was filled with the rich earthy scent of cedar trees, taking a deep breath she delighted in the cheerful music of songbirds in the distance.
She continued along the path that started to zigzag its way down a steep hill. Reaching the bottom the dappled sunlight turned to a deep green and the playful stream became a misty vale cascading into a clear aquamarine pond. While sitting on its bank to cool her feet she heard a sound, was it laughter or just the waterfall playing tricks on her ears? Curious, she looked past a great cedar tree that stood to her left. Beyond it there was a glimmer like moonlight on water slowly transforming into brilliant flowers and great trees unlike anything she had ever set eyes upon. Once again the sound came and she knew without a doubt that it was sweet laughter beckoning her to this enchanted and mysterious place. Only then did she realize that before her was the doorway to "The Faerie's Realm." Heart aching she longed to enter but knew if she did that she would see the world of man never more!
